I know nothing of IPO except that I am chomping at the bit to get started (next Tuesday cant come soon enough). In two sessions, I have taught Emma to tug (first time in 10 years) and also bite and also charge across the room, fling herself into the air at me and then bite. She will also give on the first request, but she is passionate about bite and hold until I tell her to give. She will stand her ground and bark and fuss at me if I am teasing her with her toy - and not telling her to bite. Her heeling, moving wait, sit, down, stand stay, etc. is just awesome thanks to her former life in the rally ring. I am sure with her barn hunt nose, we can get her tracking easily enough. With her agility training, getting her to go is never going to be an issue. Not sure if any of that will be useful or not in the actual IPO training, or if its even relevant, but I am sure having a great time playing with it - as is she!!!!
