I know people have had worse weeks- the Donner party or anyone who went to see Transformers 4. I might have reached a personal best, however. Andy had a bone graft Monday- knew that was coming. But the night before that(Sunday) Charlie lifted his shirt and showed me the indigo and black bruisishness of his chest- cracked rib. Advised to stay the hell out of mosh pits.... Sent home patched up and on pain meds. (if you are counting thats 2 of the 6 Cains).... I woke up Monday with a viscous toothache- A call to the always lovely Dr Gilbert and she patched me up with antibiotics and pain medicine. The bone graft went well and he was soon home patched up and on pain meds. Monday night I heard Mom. Mom. its the cat... the cat and a mouse... In your bed Mom. and it was ... As the grey mouse scrabbled up my pillow I was suddenly VERY awake. The only good thing that can be said about my behavior is that I did not grab my 80 lb daughter by the elbows and use her as a human shield. (no sign of the mouse or mouse parts has since been seen - which is either very good or very bad depending upon the view you choose to take) Chloe had all four of her wisdom teeth out Tuesday. I was getting post op information from the oral surgeon when my phone beeped. a lot..... Evie had been trampolining and had done quite a number on her ankle.... So after getting Chloe home, patched up and on pain meds. Evie and I headed to St Vs. In an air cast for 6 weeks. patched up and on pain med. thats 5 out of 6. Joe will be allowed out of his bubble in 6 to 8 weeks. im not taking any chances.......
