I know shes probably going to get me for this, but Im going to do it anyway. All my life, I have seen my sister, Nena Segree, give and give of herself. I was such a little brat coming up, but I NEVER remember her being mean to me, the bratty little sister. When she was about 20/21, we unexpectedly lost our daddy. Suddenly, she was thrust into the world of helping Mama raise me and my sister (13 & 9). While others her age were out living the life, she put her life on hold for years to help us through that time. Later on in life my younger sister would divorce, and again, Nena stepped in and opened her home to her and her 3 children, helping to raise them. She was always there for her nieces and nephews. And it was clear that she was the favorite aunt😉. Since then, I have seen her take in THREE other children to help raise. Although they are no longer living with her, she still helps raise two of them. Helped my Granny when she still lived at home. My mom now lives with her and she helps her. It seems her whole life has been devoted to helping others. ....and Ive never heard her complain. I cannot imagine all the sacrifices she has made for us all over the years. It makes me feel so selfish when I look at how she gives and gives and gives. .....I wish I had all the money in the world to give her anything on this earth she wanted. I cant do that, but Im thankful our heavenly Father has a great reward for her. Nena, Im not trying to embarrass you, I just want the whole world to know that I have the BEST, most giving sister in the world. I love you and cant imagine where Id be if it werent for you. Youll never know how grateful I am. I love you!
