I know some ppl dont understand where hes coming from but I do. Like he said in his song, We just want our portion. Kudos to Dej Loaf but shes not the only person in Detroit with talent n Trick is making sure that the industry acknowledges that. Of course he had to be politically correct on certain statements he said lol. It just sucks that just when theyre about to open to door for us (or rather us bust it open ourselves) the world is getting ready to crumble. But theyve been holding Detroit back for a reason. Were still Mo-Town with or without Barry Gordy n they know that we aint gn be a bunch of puppets like folks from ATL was. Thats why Jermaine Dupree had the cohonas to (or rather ordasity) say ATL was the new Mo-Town cs he had the industry backing him up to say it. I know a few street preachers. I guess Im one of them lol cs I have to embrace the fact that although I love God with all my heart, I still seen some things n was raised by real Gs so Im not gn act like thats not a part of who I am. Ppl think that cs u serve God that makes u soft. No, that makes u a soldier in every sense of the word cs either way it go u gotta put ur fists up n fight.
