I know some readers will hate to hear this but unfortunately to them that i own nobody apology. Tiv people had blindly fought for the unity of Nigerian state. And today, if there is any ethnic group in Nigeria that is not permitted to be Nigerians is the Tiv nation. The Tiv people have no stake in the entity called Nigeria. In 2000, a state-approved genocide against the Tiv nation was organized and supervised under the watchful eyes of General Olusegun Obasanjo, militia men from Niger, Chad and Cameroon were invited to joined forced with the Nigerian Army in killing the Tiv people. Today, we are seeming how a well planed, organized and political motivated terrorist are over running the Tiv land under the pretext of the Fulani (which is not the actual fact on ground) A powerful sitting governor from the North-West Nigeria who was a one time minister of defend under Obasanjo regime is the principle sponsor of this genocide. And i have a class of evidence to back-up my claims but would only tendered it in a court of law. This we all know is not a hidden fact. Hundreds of Tiv people are been killed on weekly bases (if not daily). Yet, we have a bunch of aged actors and comic characters who called their selves the Tiv elites. One of them is the spokeman of a political establishment (order wise known as) The Northern Elders Forum. Non of the so-called Tiv elites is saying a word about the killings of Tiv people because they want to please some certain forces else where for their monetary again. Is pathetic and pity. Where is those elements such like Chief Paul Unongo, Chief Abu King Shuluwa, Sen. J.K . Waku, Alh. Abubakar Tsav, Sen. Gemade, Sen. Akume and their likes? Vershima Orkuma Hemen, A Genuine Concerned Tiv man.
