I know that I have been trying to keep up and thank you all individually for the birthday wishes, but I want to say again that I so much appreciate them!!!! Its so hard to believe that I am 42 years old today, I definitely dont feel any older than I did in my 20s at times, and at other times I feel so much older than I *am*..I guess thats life lol!! Its been a heck of a year, and as in the past few years, plenty stressful a lot of the time- I have even started Lexapro for anxiety after a major panic attack recently, Ive started a weight loss journey that I have fallen off of plenty (currently off again), however, I am still looking for that silver lining and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow- despite the stress and hard times I have been blessed with a lot of really great moments too, seeing Styx in concert with my sister Keri, enjoying a Yankees game with Brittany Howard, Meranda VanGorder, Tonya Harrison and a lot of others, having a clean mammogram this year, watching my youngest daughter and my grandsons continue to grow, seeing Didi thrive every day in spite of her diabetes, growing even closer yet to my big girl Kelsey Michelle Tymel, starting to feel more like myself again because of addressing my anxiety finally, making some amazing new friends via #BTG and embracing the importance of my role as a birthmom and being able to talk even more openly about that experience in my life, reconnected with a few old friends as well and not taking those friendships for granted again and starting to reclaim responsibility for my own happiness and taking steps to assure that I not only keep looking for but embrace the good in life and stay true to me and what I want for my life- I feel like for every step backward that I may have taken, I cha-chaed back even stronger in some ways as well...so I cant really complain, I am blessed every day that I am here, breathing in life and growing as a person and loving life despite the hard stuff.
