I know that I have not featured many fish dishes… so I like to share with you this Ikan Masak 3 Rasa (Thai Malay Sweet & Sour Fish). I could not take clearer picture when the first time I cooked this fish dish as sky already turned dark. Recently I had this very very nice Ikan Masak 3 Rasa ( means fish cooked with 3 difference tastes, sweet, sour and spicy) in a Thai Malay restaurant during our recent trip to Kelantan. All dishes served in this restaurant were very yummy. hope you will like it… ENJOY DROOLING RECIPES WITH TERRY!!! Ikan Masak 3 Rasa (Thai Malay Sweet, Sour & Spicy Fish) Ingredients: o1 large fish, make 3 slits on the fish body for both sides (Use any fish you fancy) o 1 tomato, chopped finely o 1 onion, chopped finely o 3 cloves garlic, chopped finely o 100g Thai sweet chili sauce o 1 cup water o 1/2tsp salt or to taste o 1tsp fish sauce o 1 & 1/2 tbsp white vinegar o 1/2tbsp chili sauce o 1tbsp chopped coriander Method 1.Mix Thai sweet chili sauce, water, vinegar and chili sauce in a mixing bowl, set aside. 2. Deep fry the fish till golden brown and crispy. 3. Heat 3tbsp oil in a wok, sauté chopped onion and garlic till aroma. 4. Add in chopped tomato, mix well. 5. Add in the chili water mixture (no1), season with salt and fish sauce. Boil till thicken. 6. Last add in chopped coriander, pour the gravy on top of the deep fried fish. 7. Serve hot with steamed white rice.
