I know that all my posts in fb especially when it deals with govt or politics is right away fed to the powers that be in the capitol and ive more or less been silent after that episode after yolanda where i more or less blasted away at the governor for the unjust treatment that we got. Anyway i wont go gung ho over this provocation made by him lately but would like to share this anecdote with him and to let him now that i am not the only one who shares this perception. During gwens time there was the egwen contest among all the towns with its set of criteria and lately its been renamed Our Cebu contest but basically the same contest with some minor modifications anyway the group of evaluators came to my office for a courtesy call and i asked them how come this contest has been revived and one of them who i wont mention the name replied in cebuano but ill translate in english well you know very well mayor that davide doesnt have any program or project for the towns that comprise the province so its better to have this contest in order to establish once again a linkage with the towns to be honest i was flabbergasted at the answer because can you imagine a capitol functionary stating the obvious and a sacrilege considering that the governor is their boss. Wake up mr. Governor and open your eyes to the fact that we are your constituents and not the City of Cebu
