I know that most of you here are personal friends with Matt Godwin as am I but I have been trying for several days to put into words my thoughts and feelings about purchasing Niko. I contacted Matt awhile back asking him if I could shadow him as time permitted and learn from him. He agreed to help me because of my inexperience with herders and my need for a dog that will bite. In the process of all this I made a good friend and met my mentor. As time went by and I assume a lot of thought from Matt he contacted me and ask if I would like to purchase Niko. Im not going to lie I was very hesitant about it because Niko did intimidate me because of my inexperience (these arent retrievers). After a couple of days I accepted Matts offer and became the owner of quiet possibly one of the best dogs I have ever owned not because of his training but because of his personality and tolerance of a dumb rookie handler. Matt told me several times not to worry he even laughed at my unspoken fear of having my face eaten off by my own dog. After Niko came into my possession the support I got from Matt was unbelievable text messages, phone calls to make sure we both were adjusting well and that my body was still intact. If you know anyone looking a dog I would highly recommend DNAK9 the costumer service and support is worth far more than the dog. Matt thank you for having faith in me and letting me get your boy. Sorry for rambling on guys.
