I know that my dad and sister have posted updates, but here is the lastest on mom...It is my understanding that my mom developed three blood clots in her lungs during or shortly after surgery on Friday causing her blood pressure and oxygen levels to be so low. They have started her on coumadin therapy and are watching her very closely. As my mother put it They are on top of this! It is frustrating and scary to say the least when you have no control over what it going on. We put a lot of faith into doctors that everything will be ok when you go under the knife. The reality is that risks are a there no matter how competent the doctors are. The plan is that she will be coming back to Adrian tomorrow and taking residence at Lenawee Medical for a few days until she is ready to come home with her new knees. Thank you for all the prayers, they obviously have been a blessing to us!!
