I know that our cat, Felix, has been an issue lately, but I just need to talk about him one more time. This video was taken at 4:18 am and it offers a very small glimpse into what he does to me during the night, every night, at least twice. If his loud, annoying, meowing does not wake me, he resorts patting my face repeatedly. If I do not get up immediately when he starts this, he resorts to scratching my elbows. Seriously. Literally. Just my Elbows. What does he want, you ask? He either wants me to get up to turn on the faucet so he can have a sip of cool, refreshing water, or to top his food off with his special treats because he has eaten them all and they need to always be sprinkled just so atop his dinner..... possibly just to let him outside so he can gaze peacefully at the moon and stars..... or even simply to wake me up because if he cant sleep, neither should I. He is also very persistent. Sometimes I will pretend Im going to get up and he will jump off the bed and run to the place he wants me to come. When he realizes I didnt really get up, here returns with a super bad attitude. Its so much easier to just get up and appease him the first time. Hes also very spiteful. He has a scratching post that he uses regularly but as a last resort when I do not rise at his command, he will start scratching on my comforter or the rug very loudly, fully knowing this will make me very angry with him, but also knowing that I will finally get up..... and he will win. .....As he always does. Just another day in the life with this crazy cat that we decided to keep...
