I know that the school year is starting soon and at times, its difficult recruiting members into Interact. The key goal is to convey to them that Interact is more than just a club that meets on a weekly basis during lunch--its a worldwide organization that unites everyone together into one single family as we all work together to achieve one common goal: service. Rather than thinking about what they might want to hear and using those ideas to help guide your words, truly speak from your heart as you spill out your past experiences. Tell them of your journey in hopes of inspiring them to start theirs. Another thing, as you promote Interact to others, please remember to stay respectful towards other clubs. Avoid putting down other organizations as at the end of the day, we all have a common cause of service. Also watch out for shaming others because they are in different clubs, or if they happen to be in more than one. Rivalries do not exist unless you create them. That being said, I wish you all the best of luck as you set out to find new Interactors to join our family. Lets make this year another memorable one full of service, passion, and empowerment!
