I know that this will not come over as romantic - and for an aspiring romance writer, and a poet whose own material includes many love pieces, it is even harder to express the following perspective. I must assert, though, that I truly believe that when two individuals come together in a long-term romantic relationship, it should not be a fusion of two into one. Rather, the relationship should be two individuals co-partnering because they have a bond of love and many commonalities that will help them share lives and dreams together - while recognizing that they are not clones, nor should they be, nor should their separateness be totally and forever dismantled.
