I know the man I was, I know the man I am, I know the man I aspire to become. Each day that comes gives me an opportunity to make choices that would guarantee I become the man I aspire to become, or to keep looking back and whining about the man I was; his mistakes and inadequacies, or even the present at whom I am and get discouraged at the wide gulf between where I am and where I know am headed. The key is to live today but with the future in view, ensuring that the present and its need for gratifications would not impede tomorrow, while drawing apt lessons from the past; not letting it be a burden. Because the way to the future is forward!
