I know the theological and ecclesial reasons that the church doesnt practice open communion. Im wondering about some of them, but, still, I know them. Is it ever possible for the Eucharist to be driven by missiology, to share as openly with non-believers (who get Jesus about as much as the disciples did in Mark) as with believers? I know that this will sound like a heretical question to some of you. So be it. Im trying to start a discussion, not stake out a position. Now........... discuss.
