I know the ugly and bitter truth of this boys situation, having lived through something very similar for the first 24 years of my life. Over time, I became stronger and wiser, eventually reaching the point where I not so much conquered as obliterated it by my complete self acceptance. One a given day, I grasped my own value. I learnt to not believe the lies taught by institutions, politicians, religions, bigots and ignoramuses and I started honouring myself and the values I stand for - values that were instilled in me by my two wonderful parents, my grandmother and my other mother, the woman who raised me in our household, Sophie Soneni Sibanyoni. Lets all do our bit to break the viscious cycle of bullying, everywhere and anywhere we can, anytime the opportunity presents itself. A good starting point is to share this clip. Thank you.
