I know there are people out there that genuinely love helping horses and sometimes take on the starved horse...having done that myself personally and professionally for others I can honestly say that many problems can be avoided if NO chemical wormers are used, no vaccines and no GMO/commercial feeds are fed - especially in the critical beginning stages - which is the first 3 months. If anyone ever takes on a very sick and thin horse please ask for help and dont try to do it on your own...too many things can go wrong very quickly.
