I know there are some good cops out there. I know a few dudes that I grew up with and hung out with that became cops that are still the same dudes from the block. Nothing has changed them. I can still walk up to them and give them the same handshake/hugs like I did when they were homies. I can still stand with them and laugh like we did on the block with no filters. Its still all Jesus with them. I also have a few cops (active and retired) on my friends list that I respect. True, I have a prejudice of some sort, but I respect them and value their opinions because they keep it 100 with me and I see their side of things. I dont let my prejudice cloud my judgement. But let me ask. I know we should rat out the filthy dudes in the hood who kill for the sport. But why arent good cops ratting out bad cops? If you know you have a dude on the force who is a trigger happy bigot, why dont you send an anonymous letter to IA or higher up? There are a lot of killings going on recently. Whatever happen to Shoot to wound/disable? How about tasing someone? Why is it now that blacks are getting shot 8+ times? Why are they getting shot when they are handcuffed? Why are they getting shot when they are already on the ground? And the shots are not coming from one cop. They are coming from multiple. Is there not a lead person or is it, shoot until their is no more breath in the person? It seems like they dont want to go to court to defend themselves because they know the shooting was unjustified. In the case of Eric Garner, maybe he should have given up. But because he didnt initially surrender, did it earn him an illegal chokehold and then being choked until he stopped moving? If anyone has been put in a Sleeper Hold, you know the purpose of it is to put you to sleep. There is a difference between being suffocated and being Asphyxiated. However, in #EricGarners situation, both occurred. When he said, I cant Breathe. I cant breathe. It was from suffocation. He was unable to get air into his lungs because he was on his stomach with the weight of the cop (as well as his own) being the cause. With that, Asphyxiation occurred. This was caused by the choke hold the cop had on on him. He was unable to acquire the oxygen he needed because of the obstruction (choke hold) in his throat. Suffocation (technically) causes Asphyxiation No, I am not a doctor. But I have medical training from the military and civilian. 17 years of it total between the two. So, when does it end? Is there a Shoot to kill order on blacks who break the law in any kind of way? Is there a Shoot to kill order on black men who just look suspicious? In all due respect, why is that whites are not getting shot dead for attacking police or not getting on the ground when told to? Why are they getting tased but blacks are getting shot multiple times. Animals seem to get more leniency than black men these days. Its like, when a black man is killed by police, whites say, He should have obeyed the officers command. I ask, what threat did 12 year old Tamir Rice pose to the police playing in a playground with a toy gun? What threat did Damien Hunt pose to police with a toy sword to where he had to get shot in the back? If Eric Garner. What did he do to die? Sell Loosies? A misdemeanor offense resulted in death? Why couldnt they tase him? You had 4 officers standing there. So, when people say its not a racial thing, I say BULLSHIT! Prove to me that its not and Ill give you 77 names of unarmed black men and women who were shot at least 8 times while NOT attacking the police.
