I know there some football supporters who will remember their teams 1-0 win from a goal in the dying minutes in a 4th round cup replay against say Pilchester Rovers, but for most of us, who love football, what sticks in the memory are great moments by exceptional players. Erik Lamelas Rabona Goal is a case in point. It certainly brought a smile to many faces including that of his manager. When I watch junior football what I remember are those occasions when a young player surprises me with a piece of skill or vision rather than the outcome of any particular match or result good or bad. Watching sport in my opinion should be fun & about enjoyment.
