I know this is going to be a bit of a controversial thing to say. I also know that others will feel very strongly about this and I understand that. But this whole Ched Evans thing seems to be getting a little out of hand. Yes, he is a convicted criminal and yes, what he did (if indeed he did actually do it) was very wrong and has potentially ruined someone elses life. But he was sent down, did his time and now hes back out again. What is the point of sending people to jail if we dont then allow them to re-integrate back into society and continue plying their trade? If you dont like Ched Evans then dont pay to see Oldham Athletic play at home. Its that simple. But he has to earn a living somehow. It makes me laugh when I see how many of these ban Ched Evans people also blindly hate anyone who is on benefits of any kind. Because thats where hell end up unless we allow himn to do his job again. We cant have it both ways people.
