I know this is old.... but it shows why I dont believe in either political party... they both call votes the way they want to see them (or to make them politically convenient), if you think these honorable leaders represent the best in democracy, you are sorrowfully mistaken. 2/3 vote was in no way met here. Oh, and even when the platform changes, except election issues, it is almost irrelevant. Dems have had medical marijuana on their state and national platform for over a decade... despite this, popular opinion, the suffering of our veterans and sick citizens there has been relatively little action. Every win comes from a fight. Politicians with integrity are rare commodity in either party.
