I know this isnt a for sale post but I could really use some help. We are new to country living and horse ownership and this will be our first winter keeping horses. We do not have automatic waterers where we are and I am realizing that I am at a bit of a loss as to how we are going to keep these horses (2 horses, 1 foal) watered through the winter. What do those of you who dont have automatic waterers do? We currently use a large oval, metal trough. I had thought we would run a heater to it but am trying to figure out the most efficient way to get water out to the trough. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
