I know times must be tough for anyone in the music business. Lately Ive seen a flurry of advertisements for a couple of recording studios located in the state, which suggests to me that they are trying to get their name out there more in order to bring in new business.... or maybe even ANY business. I dont do that, because if ANY recording studios name has been dropped more than Cedar Crest Studio in the state of Arkansas for the past 40+ years I certainly dont know. I rest completely on my reputation and experience. By NOT spending a lot of advertising dollars, I am saving a lot of money that I can use to keep my business afloat in these troubled times of cheap technology and hollow promises. For you newbies looking for a place to record, remember that its NOT the gear, its the Ears! Do your homework! ASK any musician thats been around about Cedar Crest Studio. I stake my reputation on my satisfied clients that keep returning to the mountains to record their music. Or in the words of my dad, you get what you pay for.
