I know we gotta ban on the Washington P*st in effect but someone sent me the link to the article in a text.... Instead of sharing it and giving the p*st a click, I Copied and pasted 😊 Btw.... This dude says our name, #Redskins EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — For the Washington Redskins, the good news is that their embarrassing season is almost finished. The bad news is that President and General Manager Bruce Allen remains on the job. The thought of Allen continuing to chart the franchise’s course is even scarier than watching Washington’s weak offensive line or porous secondary, both of which collapsed again during Sunday’s 24-13 loss to the New York Giants. In yet another this-can’t-end-soon-enough performance, Washington produced only three points after halftime in a battle of teams competing to stay out of the NFC East basement. Jason Reid is a sports columnist with the Washington Post. He joined the Post’s Redskins team in 2007 after 15 years covering many beats at the Los Angeles Times. The Giants completed a season sweep of the hapless Redskins, who again failed to adequately protect quarterbacks Colt McCoy and Robert Griffin III in the team’s sixth consecutive loss. And the Redskins’ secondary too often appeared disinterested or confused in coverage, which often has been the case throughout this season-long debacle. Allen is perched atop the rubble. In his first offseason with roster control, Allen has made so many missteps that there’s no telling how long it could take to untangle his dunderheaded moves. His failure to address glaring holes and identify others has resulted in a roster that could be years away from merely being competitive, a team official recently acknowledged. The organization has never appeared more lost — and that’s saying a lot. Allen’s fingerprints are all over the mess.
