I know what its like for people to assume or believe hearsay of gossip rumors etc. when tragedy strikes. Oh I forgot we thrive off that kind of garbage! We always want to assume if we see it on the news, Facebook, newspaper, internet or hear it through the sharpe edge tongue of others it must be true. I dealt with all that when we lost Savannah Faith. It still sickens me and hurts my heart to know that many of these people was people that was suppose to love us. People have no idea what this does to people who are enduring enough guilt and hurt as it is. Why do we want to add to an already hard and grief stricken moment? We are quick to put forth judgement, ridicule, and gossip and assume! When first and foremost we should be praying for them and lifting them up to God! I understand that theres cases when someone may be guilty but it still doesnt give us the right to harm even deeper. many people (parents, grandparents, other children, friends etc) are also effected by your words. So before we start throwing mean, hateful, accusations, or judgement lets stop and pray asking God do his work in the situation because you may find one day youll be the one in the hot seat. Im telling you its hurt that never goes away!
