I landed in Kuala Lumpur where my Malaysian Airways flight, arrived without a hitch. Despite the stewardess gripping the sides of her seat during take off, landing and turbulence, she also prayed and make the sign of the cross, I persuaded myself that she didnt have access to any information I didnt have. Although its the only flight Ive ever taken where no safety procedures or safety video played for the passengers to ignore. It seems they forgot or they just thought if any emergency occurs, knowing the safety procedures isnt going to help anyone. It was also the only flight where I saw someone caught for smoking in the loo and we had a drunk on board. No that wasnt me, but... the stewardess plied us with so much wine, my glass was constantly topped up, it very well could have been me. The other mentionable was that there was a priest on board. My neighbour, a very amusing woman called Zisha, who was fab company, had a great theory that the priest was an actor paid to fly all the flight to reassure people of the airlines safety. Meanwhile, they still wonder about changing their name. Never a dull moment. I feel a speech coming on...
