I laugh at the responses people give me when I ask why they make music. I always hear about how they do it for the money, and/or fame. It would be nice to receive that one day, but I make music, because of the simple fact that I am music! I take it very seriously, mostly because it represents who you are as a person. When you only joke around on the mic, it makes me feel like your life is a joke. Its not just a game, remember that. Any new artists that want a tip, dont be like these other artists. Make songs that represent YOU and YOUR life. Speak truth and tell YOUR story. Everyone has a story, so most songs should have originality to it. Yes, I speak about wanting money in songs too, but who doesnt want it?! The difference is that I wont stop if I never get any from this and no amount will ever change the person I am. I will still be Brandon Tachibana, still be giving my last to those who need it, still putting my all into every song, etc. Also because I am an entrepreneur. Its in our nature. If I dont get it from my songs, I WILL make it from another source of business that I create. Trust. All in all, if you have a dream, continue your pursuit. I got nothing but respect for those that give it back. Never change, unless its for the better, and always tell yourself you WILL succeed! Thanks for your time and God bless. #BTachibanaMusic
