I learned Along time ago not to depend others for MY happiness. I dont think I have a single person in my life thats never let me down in one way or another... And I dont think there is a single person that in some way or another I havent also let down. Were human. Fortunately im surrounded by folks that we love each other through our imperfections and thats what family and friendship is about... But it shows us what the bible already tells us... God is the only one who will NEVER disappoint, who will never let down: hes the only one thats perfect. I recently had someone tell me that Im just seem so happy with Chase. And my response back was , Chase is a great man. Hes a great father.. But Im HAPPY because I have faith in a God who has my future mapped out. MY happiness isnt Chases job. Its mine. We are all responsible for our own state of mind and emotional health. And I believe a successful life is two happy people who come together. Who dont burden each other down with well I woke up this morning now make me happy... Ill be waiting but two people who wake up and say Im happy this morning because I woke up and chose to be happy... Because when I woke up this morning I made the same decision I do every day... And that was to get my joy from the Lord. We all have trials, bad moments, bad days, and cranky moods... We have slip ups and fall downs...But Im talking being an over all genuinely happy human. Thats up to YOU... And where YOU CHOOSE to get your happiness from, humanity, or from the Great I Am. 👆 Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
