I learned a long time ago that I dont have what it takes to do home schooling. I applaud and admire those that do it, but it just isnt for our family (i.e. me if you want the real truth). So instead, Ive always prayed that my children would have excellent people in their lives to guide them outside of our home, and I feel blessed to say that that prayer has been a continual positive answer. After a phone call from the principal this morning discussing a game plan for Andrew for an issue that weve been going through with him, today I feel particularly grateful for the teachers, principal, volunteers, and staff who work at Allison and Andrews school. Ive had a few ups and downs these last few weeks as a parent, and every interaction that Ive had with everyone there has been uplifting, informing, helpful, and encouraging. Im thankful for the effort that they put into enriching lives every single day.
