I learned something new today....it was a "DUH" moment for me. Last month I mailed out a monthly fat quarter for an exchange group I am in. I folded the fat quarter and stuffed it into a regular sized envelope. It cost me $2.07 to mail it...darn FQ only cost .99 to begin with! Today I mailed out another for the month of July and I put it flat, inside 5x7 envelope...it only cost me .66 to mail it! "WHAT?", I asked the mail clerk. She said it is not weight but SIZE...my smaller envelope was too FAT because I folded the FQ, so I got charged more. Discrimination!! Fat envelopes...UNITE!!
