I learned today while talking with my Grandparents that my Grandfather was told he would have a year to live. This was said a year ago. The greatest man I know has defeated the odds and is taking life one day at a time. Im extremely blessed this Christmas and everyday of my life, to have such a wonderful mentor, father and grandfather in my life. Im great full that Im able to pick up the phone and call him no matter what I have to talk about. He has always been there to listen and give advice that even if I didnt like ,I always considered. Merry Christmas to my Bob ( Im not a loud to call him grandpa. Never have been a loud. Makes him feel old , Lol) Even though we are miles apart in my heart you are always beside me.
