I learnt a valuable lesson this weekend. You are who you are. You leave impressions on all kinds of people in your walk of life. Sometimes you realise when the chips are down its the ones who you never see are the ones who are there to prop you up. When something or someones gone you start to reflect. One thing is you cant please everyone. You just about please yourself at times. But dont be sad or disappointed by people who have no respect for others or no calibre theyre who they are, someone out there likes them it just doesnt have to be you. Me I am what I am an open book, no gossiping behind my girlfriend backs or two faced malarkey I call it as it is. I am selfish at times and dont even know it, but one thing I know I am, I will go to the end of the earth for you. Even go out of pocket too, but Im not going to complain and hate. And even when I know you chatted me, laughed in my face, dissed me or your upset with me, but wont tell me, I stand firm in my beliefs that we are friends and till the phone calls end. Its called life and maybe we all want to be loved, but you just cant please them all. i am trying very hard to stop caring what is said about me, its taken years, but you damn well cant walk in my shoes, youve not come from the depths of almost having my life support turned off. Tomorrow is my birthday and yes a dear friend has passed but im gonna continue to celebrate life cause I was a second chance and she wasnt given one. So my first glass of Champagne will be to give thanks for saving me and continue to be a testament in his name and to my family, and to say a toast in her name. Im not taking any sympathy or looking friends comments cause the loss is more to her children, her mother. If I feel chewed up for my step sister, spare a thought for them and say a prayer that her children remembers mummy with live and their pain be one of strength for the future, thats all that matters.
