I left Tucson on Monday after renting my house for 6 months.. A little longer than I originally anticipated but the opportunity presented itself so what the heck. My first stop and the only one I have planned so far is at Elsewhere Studios in Paonia CO where I am doing a 6 week artist residency. My living space is the Gingerbread Cottage which is 9 X 10 square feet on the ground floor with a loft space holding a double bed that is reached by climbing a quite tall and fully vertical ladder:). I have my studio space and share a kitchen and bathroom with the other residents in the main house. This place is so deliciously outlandish in a quirky fairy tale land sort of way. Hard to describe~ that is why I took photos:) I remember stopping by a few years ago when I was in Paonia thinking wouldnt it be cool to live here immersed in some creative wonderland for a while... Mmm~hmm:)
