I left my hometown almost 3 years ago in pursuit of a better life. I had nothing except a car full of clothes and a dream. I got a job, got myself in school, and kept pushing. Since then, Ive gone on 3 tours, won the UMA West Coast Artist of the Year Award, rocked Paid Dues, all while keeping a 3.5 GPA as an accounting major (2 semesters away from graduating) and being there for my babygirl. I dont say this to brag I say it to show people that look like me and come from where I come from that it can be done. You just gotta focus and go get it.
