I like NodeCraft as a name a lot, but I do agree that its kind of scary for artists. I get a lot of suggestions for Japanese names and variations on my own name (I really dont want to have my name in there and asking me why would result in a very long-winded post). I dont really like Japanese names that much. I think they seem cool if you dont live in Japan for ages to make a product targeted primarily for a Western market with a Japanese or Japanese-like name. But Im surrounded by Japanese product names every day. That said, a lot of Japanese comics and games take a lot of inspiration from Greek culture. Its why we find a lot of Greek and Roman themes in games and comics. So one name I really, really liked always is Gradius. Cause thats like a Japanese spin. I think they meant to write Gladius, but theres no l sound in Japan so its often swapped for an r. So maybe we can find a name like that. Just swap an l for an r -- voila, its originaru! Like Aporro or Hercures. Arexander, Atras, Herios, Hoprite.
