I, like everyone else, am grateful for my family and friends, most especially my best friend Dean and my adopted son Cory. But this year I am especially thankful to my extraordinary doctor, Ty, for getting me through last week, the roughest and scariest week Ive had in recent memory. I am alive to see this day of thanks, something that wasnt guaranteed just seven days ago. It sure puts things into better perspective and makes me more determined to finish the couple of books still waiting for endings and the new musical waiting for better dialog. And so it goes.
