I, like everyone, have the utmost respect for health professionals, but none as much as surgeons. I happened to switch over to a TV show last night - Trauma something - and their knowledge of anatomy and bone structure, and their ability to analyse read-outs from x-rays and other machines and then operate to fix anything from stabbings to major motor accidents is amazing. The amount of study needed to do this type of life saving work is far beyond most of us. Kudos to doctors.
