I like my guitar playing, better than my singing (I think I am better at it, but it is fun for me to do both). But after I play a song, I usually end up jamming some riff that pops in my head. This takes 5-10 minutes, I play it different each time, and I forget them almost immediately after I play them (because I move on to another song or riff). I dont think about it while I play, I just play. So I started recording them. It is cool to be able to see myself. I see what I like, or didnt, about what I improvise, what notes I chose, or how I play the rhythm (I can pick myself apart). This is in A. I thought of it after playing Dearest by Buddy Holly. The style of the first strum is what the connection is. On playback, I hear it to be missing a high melody on the B string, within the hard A strums.
