I like our Senate President. The man is one helluva survivor. Since he became Senate President many eons ago (I reckon hes the longest serving Senate President in the history of Nigeria by now), how many times have you heard his co-Senators try to impeach him or raise their voices against him? None. He knows how to deal with them - settle them, that is. All of them, and no party discrimination. It doesnt matter what party you belong to in the Senate, he settles them equally (So do not fall the righteous indignance and proclamation or exhibition of innocence of your Senator from any party other than PDP as if they are not getting very rich in the House) Since he became Senate President, we have had 2 Speakers of the House of Representatives (we are about to have a 3rd one now) and that position has always been a wobbly position for the holder. But there has never been a crisis involving our Senate President. Our Senate President will never rock the boat with the Presidency or with his party. He knows when to talk and when not to, and what to say and what not to say. Very clever guy. An astute politician and soldier (Sojatician). And on top of it, hes made enough fortune in the Senate chambers that will make Bill Gates envious. And he has not stolen a kobo there, trust me, he doesnt need to. Good man. Bless his good heart. The telephone is not for the poor. And you never know; he might still get to rule this country.
