I like the idea that no one is worthless, its beautiful, and I believe that we are all born equal and invaluable and with great potential. But still I cant shake the idea that those who do evil are worth less to the world than those who do good, that those who choose to care -and do what they can to take the natural responsibility of being that follows- are more important to the survival of the planet and humanity than those who choose not to care whether they cause hurt, I believe thats reality, the reality that we ultimately choose who we become, and that our choices and our actions are ripples and waves of which the world is shaped. In essence, to care for doing good is choosing to be full of worth and meaning, to be a VIP to life, so to speak, while the opposite is to steal from oneself the potential of being invaluable to the world, carelessness is hurtful -though often indirectly- to oneself and other alike and it obscures the potential for meaningfulness and genuine satisfaction, for the meaningful joy and contentment that is the heart of doing good. What a great opportunity we all have, to give other people joy and give ourselves joyousness in they process, to give other people reasons to be happy and thereby giving ourselves. The opportunity to do something good, to be there for someone, to heal a hidden wound with a smile and make beautiful memories.
