I like the small gifts I get every day. Today my co-worker Yuichi was working outside on our company car and he met a man who was making a delivery. I happened to come out and talked to him. I figured him to be 70 years old; had that desert look of an old man in shorts and tshirt that happens when you live here a long time. He was actually 92 years old. He had been in Japan and was talking about how he loved the country. He shared that his wife had died and he now has a girlfriend. Sharp as a tack this old man. We are taking him to sushi next week because my theory is that you can never have enough older friends and this guy has lots to teach us.
