I like this Washington Post editorial. They tell the story of how Hamas wages war at the same time it blames the war on Israel. They tell how much the tunnels into Israel cost, built with money that could be used to construct desperately needed housing for Palestinians. I do admit some prejudices. including one against Saudi Arabia. I choose them because they have enough money, much of it from Americans and our government because of oil, to transform Palestine into a livable country. Instead, they and other Arab countries who hate Israel make Palestinians, many of whom are children and teens, into heroes if they die to combat the other country. Why is that money not spent on building a society that could compete with Israel?
