I like to study Bible prophecy. I truly believe that God has given to us written word that establishes faith in the hearts of those who love Him. It merely provides me a picture of the creator with a master plan. That plan is His kingdom come. I find peace and not fear in that. Peace that I need daily. Good things happen to bad people. Bad things happen to good people. I find solace in pains of this life by relying on His promises. I find guidance by reading His plans. Look at Matthew 5. Its laid out well there. It tells us what true blessings are. It warns us of many heart issues that need adjusting daily in this world of woes. We talk of karma. But I believe it falls under the heading of spiritual truth found here in Matthew. Instructions and just how things are. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: (And here it is in a nut shell.) for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. I like knowing He is in control. Despite those that are clearly oblivious to His love and power. And I dig the instruction. If my hearts right, He knows it. I can take what comes my way.... The good, the bad and the beautiful and the ugly will be along this journey. Face in the mirror: His ways are higher than your ways. (Thank goodness, my wrath would be all destroy them now, sayeth me! every two seconds.... in fact, Id be my own worst enemy) His word and His Word (Jesus) says, Trust and obey. The best is yet to come.
