I like to use the prone ham curl machine for heavy hip thrusts..Today I only did 130lbs 4x15 but the big pad makes it awesome to go heavy heavy. Depending on how tall you are you may not need the step. I like to super set these with heavy (250lb) abductors then reverse lunge-curtsy lunge-reverse lunge-side lunge 15per side.Holding a 15-20lb db or no weight. 4 sets total. Then I end with abductors (slight lean forward emphasis on the glutes) 6x10 10 seconds rest inbetween. BURRRN BOOTY BURRRN!
