I like to wright letters to the kids for when they get older I have done it for awhile now. I was looking back at some I wrote for Lane. Here is a little snippet from one of those letters. I went through a full 9 months of being pregnant and scared. I didnt know if I would be a good mom or turn out like my own. I didnt know if I had the mental capacity at 17 to give you what you need to thrive and grow. On Dec 8 2008 I went through 16 hours of easy labor. You were born a healthy 8lbs 10oz boy. You had 20 people come into the room right after you were born. You were so loved from the first minute you were born by so many people. God knew what he was doing when he brought you into our lives. God gave me peace and understanding as a new mom. He gave me wisdom to do what was right and the mind to be a good mom at 17. God knew I needed you. God knew what you meant to us and what we would mean to you. You showed me how to love unconditionally. You showed us how to love and how to be loved. You showed us the joy and love of a first child. Ramblings of an 18 year old me :)
