I liked the way this guy presents things so Im giving a link to his videos. He gives useful hits and tips for the most fundamental and most important aspects of the game from character creation to character backstory to role-playing and even has videos specifically designed to help Dungeon Masters. In this particular one, he speaks about the importance of Roleplaying (aka Being in character). Its only 3 minutes long but it gives a hint towards how important it is to behave and take actions as YOUR CHARACTER and not yourself. If you have any experience with acting, role-playing should be a breeze, as they are very similar.
