I listened as Sen. Jack Johnson was a guest on the Ralph Bristol - TopicsExpress

I listened as Sen. Jack Johnson was a guest on the Ralph Bristol show this morning. Ralph easily got Johnson to confirm that he has previously agreed to let his "friend" Lamar Alexander identify Johnson as one of his supporters for the reelection run. Johnson also stated that he has subsequently been asked by the Alexander campaign to show other support but has not. Of course, Johnson acknowledged that there is a lot of public pressure to oust Alexander. Johnson would not state that he at present DOES NOT endorse Alexander. Instead, all he could do or the most he would do is state that the primary voters could choose IF there develops a challenger. Johnson did say that if Alexander was the candidate that he would support Alexander over any Democrat (really, with his voting record there are some Democrats who are in fact far more conservative). So, we have an admission by Sen. Jack Johnson - who is up for re-election in 2014 - that he essentially can disregard all of the bad votes by Alexander, that he can disregard that Alexander is clearly unrestrained by the enumerated powers doctrine; that he can ignore that Alexander votes predominately in support of Obama and the Democrat leaders in Washington; and that Johnson will support practically anyone on a partisanship basis even if the candidate is practically devoid on constitutional sound principles in government stewardship. Great interview Ralph Bristol - information we needed on exactly what character and statesman Jack Johnson is when he asks us to reelect him in 2014. . . . but of course, we already know that Jack Johnson is a loyal follower and servant of both Ron Ramsey and Bill Haslam so why would we expect him to speak the truth against Lamar Alexander that he needs to go at all costs.
