I listened to this song this morning tears came to my eyes as my mind immediately when back to an amazing time in my family lives 14ish years ago. My dad Tim Wangsgaard had the opportunity to be forgiven of a mistake he made. This was a mistake that hurt my family but also made us stronger and gave us a precious gift that none of us would ever want to trade for the taking away of the heartache. My 2 brothers and I were able to see first hand what it meant to completely take upon yourself the blessings that come from the atonement when we saw my dad, for the second time in his life, enter the waters of baptism and be forgiven of his sins. We were also able to see how important it is to forgive! My mom, Linda McNeely Wangsgaard, was able to do what most people would not be able to do. And because of her we have learned what it truly means to love someone with a pure Christ like love! Because of what my dad went through...my dad has become an amazing man, father, and poppy! It was not an easy process but because of the strength and faith that my parents had to pull us through my testimony of my saviors love has always been strong!
