I little sound demo of the cello I built. I think it needs a mellower French Bridge, not the strident Belgian bridge it has now, and find a better place for the post..perhaps a bit farther from the bridge. I get nervous playing cello on a recording, intonation suffers. It needs lot more playing in, several more months I imagine. And more tweaking to the bridge / post set up. But there it is, recorded on a old camera with poor audio quality. I hope someday I get to hear a really good cellist take it for a session and tell me how it stacks up to other instruments. For a first cello however I cant feel bad or apologize about it at all.
