I live in a world where I have to work all day everyday just to barely cover my expenses. Sacrificing relationships with friends and family so that I can have a roof over my head. I live in a world where I have to sit on the floor grasping my chest in pain while telling the other concerned individuals around me to not take me to the hospital because I cant afford another hospital bill. I live in a world where law officers are treated as criminals and criminals treated as heroes. I live in a world where a pretty face makes you a famous singer. Not the quality of your voice or the level of talent you posses. I live in a world where people care more about themselves in the here and now then they do for all of humanity. A world where people refuse to look at the bigger picture. I live in a world where people hate their leaders. No matter who they are, or how well they have done, people will dislike them. I live in a world where if you want to stay alive it will cost you an arm and a leg. I live in a world full of rage, hostility, anger, belittlement.... But in my own little world I see hope joy and peace because I know that in the long run I am only here for a short time. So I will do my best each day to delve deeper into that joy and try to spread it to everyone I see. The world will try to knock you down. But contentment can be a wonderful thing. I am happily alive. :)
